E-sales and door-to-door sellers

Share article:

From 1st March 2017 the Act on Electronic Record of Sales will concern also sellers who sell products from companies like Avon or Amway. The obligation to send electronic receipts will extend to sellers registered in the trade register who engage in direct sale; retail stores will be obliged to record sales from March already. If the seller’s enterprise with the products is only an ancillary activity, the obligation to record sales will arise only in June next year i.e.  at the time when he or she will have to join e-sales with his or her main activity, for example beauty consultancy etc. An activity is considered ancillary if it makes a profit of max. 175 000 CZK per year and at the same time less than half of all sales.
