On October 1^st the receipt lottery called “Účtenkovka” in Czech is being launched. The idea to create the lottery came from the Ministry of Finance; customers can win one of the 21.025 prizes of values ranging from 100 CZK to 1 million CZK. To enter the lottery, people need to register a receipt issued by a business that records sales according to the Act on the Electronic Record of Sales. The receipt can be registered via an online form www.uctenkovka.cz or through a mobile app called “Účtenkovka” where you can scan information from the receipt directly. The lots will be drawn every 15^th day of a month and only receipts issued during the previous month and registered no later than 3 days prior to the draw will be included. The main aim of the “Účtenkovka” lottery is to motivate customers into taking receipts from businesses.
