Discontinuation of the older version of the tax portal and support for TLS 1.0 and 1.1 encryption protocols

According to information published on the website of the Financial Administration, the older version of the tax portal at https://adisspr.mfcr.cz will be discontinued on 28 February 2022. Users can find all its functions in a modernised form on the My Taxes portal at www.mojedane.cz. According to the published information, the cancellation of access to the older version of the tax portal is necessary to increase the clarity of the services provided and to unify them.

At the same time, as of 28 February 2022, the Financial Administration is discontinuing support for the outdated TLS 1.0 and 1.1 encryption protocols, which do not meet the requirements of high security, based on current developments in the field of information systems security policy and the recommendations of the National Office for Cyber and Information Security.

The security features of the MOJE daně portal will also be strengthened, as it will no longer support the HTTP protocol and will use only HTTPS protocols, which are encrypted during transmission and secure the portal domain. Access to the My Taxes portal (to all its applications and services) will only be enabled using the HTTPS protocol.

The Financial Administration assures that this transition will not affect users who use HW and SW products supported by the manufacturer for their activities; on the contrary, the domain of the MOJE daně portal and the transition to the HTTPS certificate are intended to guarantee confidentiality of the transmitted data, at the same time with effective defence against unwanted content, and to provide users with greater overall security.
