MPs have supported a proposal for increasing pensions

Minister Maláčová submitted a proposal for an increase of pensions by CZK 300 above the annual increase and Members of Parliament supported it in the first reading. The average pension may reach approximately CZK 16,195 due to this, on average. After the Chamber of Deputies, valorization of pensions will also be discussed by the Senate.

According to the most recent estimates, statutory valorization for the year 2022 reached an average of CZK 458 and the expected average increase of pensions will be CZK 758.
