Parents of small children under the age of 3 years will be able to use accessible services of children’s groups. On 18 August 2021, the Senate approved an amendment, which is intended to ensure stable and predictable financing for children’s groups and contains a top limit for the payment of parents of small children for this service. The Ministry of Labour and Social Affairs expects that parents will pay an average of CZK 1,700 in children’s groups for the care for small children under the age of three years, but never more than CZK 4,000. In order for the amendment to take effect from 1 October 2021, it needs to be signed by the president as well. More detailed information can be found here.
