The Senate has approved an increase in pensions, child raising surcharge and earlier retirement for rescuers. The amendment will now go to the president of CR.

The amendment will bring an increase of pension by CZK 300 in addition to the statutory amount, and CZK 500 extra for people, who have raised children. Rescuers will retire earlier without any reduction in the amount of their pension.

Pensions will thus increase by CZK 300 more than they would have according to the automatically set up valorisation alone. For all people raising children in primary care, pension should increase by CZK 500 per every child raised.

The increase in pension by CZK 300 in addition to valorisation will probably apply from the beginning of the year 2022 and the other changes from 1 January 2023.
