Consolidation package passes 2nd reading

On 7 September 2023, the bill amending certain laws relating to the consolidation of public budgets passed its second reading in the Chamber of Deputies. The subject of the second reading included major government amendments, which we have already informed you about, for example, regarding functional currency, exchange rate differences, or employee benefits. The consolidation package is now heading to the Budget Committee for consideration of amendments before the 3rd reading (in about 9 days). We will continue to monitor the progress of the legislative process.
